In the late 60s, driver Don Prudhomme captured the imagination of racing fans as he piloted his bright yellow Snake funny car at drag strips all across the US.
This superbly detailed 1/24 Scale replica captures the look of the real car, along with the sound and fury of all-out racing. At the touch of a button, the display model comes to life, thanks to a digitally mastered sound track and hidden animation drive. The excitement begins as the body lifts up to reveal the complete interior. At the engine start, "flames" flash out of the exhaust pipes and the car begins to rumble and shake. Next, it's time to warm-up with a practice burnout. Then we're up to the starting line. The engine revs up, the car shakes with anticipation. Lights on the "christmas tree" take you from staging through start. At the green light, the engine surges, the wheels spin, the car raises into a wheelie then settles down and you'll swear you're seated at trackside for another thrilling run.
Each limited-edition replica is fully assembled, serially numbered and comes with a display stand with dust cover, complete sound and electronics (battery operated, batteries sold separately), a certificate of authenticity, an 8 x 10" color print of the actual car and a four page collector booklet.
