It is the responsibility of the purchaser to read all company policies listed on this page prior to pre-ordering merchandise.
What is a Pre-Order? A pre-order is an order you can make for a new item before it is in stock and available for delivery. You can pre-book (order) this item with a paid deposit and we will bill and ship when the item has been sent to us from the manufacturer.
What is a Deposit? A deposit secures your pre-order. No order is considered confirmed until the deposit is paid. We require a 10% deposit when you buy ‘pre-order’ products but please note that this is only a deposit and not an extra charge. A deposit is a non-refundable payment.
What else should I know about Deposit? When more than one item is ordered, the total deposit will be applied to the final doll being shipped. In the event that the manufacturer cancels the pre-ordered product, we will refund the deposit payment for that item(s). If you cancel the order your deposit will be forfeited (no exceptions). Deposits will be forfeited if payment is not made promptly once items are in stock and ready for shipping (see below).
If an item required more than a 10% deposit, it will be noted in the product description.
What happens when my pre-order item is ready to ship? We will send out a mass letter a week or two in advance of product arriving. It is your responsibility to make sure that we have your current email address and are approved for sending you emails (that our emails do not end up in your Spam or Junk folders).
The balance of your payment is required promptly once we have the dolls in stock or deposits will be forfeited. We will attempt to contact you twice (not including the mass email) before canceling an order.
It is your responsibility to let us know of any information changes including a change in payment method or shipping address.
Credit card payments – we will automatically charge and ship dolls (if you want dolls held to group ship, you must let us know in advance)
Paypal – we will send you a Paypal Request
Will all my items ship together? When pre-ordering multiple items it is often quite likely that they will not arrive from the manufacturer at the same time. We are happy to hold items to ship in groups to save on shipping costs. Payment is due as items arrive and once paid for the items can be held to ship at a later date when more items come in.
Overseas & Pre-ordering
Unfortunately we are unable to confirm actual final shipping costs until the dolls are in stock and ready for shipping. If you would like a shipping estimate prior to pre-ordering, please contact us. Otherwise we assume overseas customers have some knowledge of shipping costs when ordering and are subject to the same deposit & cancelation policies as Canadian & US customers.

Each item will have a Manufacturers Estimated Delivery Date listed in the product description on our website. Please note that these dates are ONLY estimates and are subject to change by the manufacturer. MFD is not responsible for changes or delays in shipping from the manufacturer.
Generally, most manufacturers shipping dates are inaccurate and subject to change. We do our best to revise shipping dates when information is passed on from the manufacturer.
Additional Ordering Information
On-line orders always receive priority processing. Email and fax orders are the second best way to order - please remember to clearly state your name, address and phone #.

My Favourite Doll Inc. features secure on-line encrypted transactions to ensure the privacy of any information you submit to us. This ensures that your credit card details are safe and can only be intercepted by My Favourite Doll Inc. Our online web site utilizes industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information. All personal information you submit, such as name, address and credit card details, are powerfully encrypted before leaving your browser. My Favourite Doll Inc. is registered with site identification authorities to enable your browser to confirm our security identity before any transmission is sent.
All customer information, including name, address, email etc is kept confidential. Under no circumstance will we divulge or sell customer information to a third party.
HST will be applied to all Canadian Orders (or just GST where applicable). There are no taxes charged by us on orders being shipped to the US or overseas.
Types of Payment
Visa and MasterCard.
While we would never send out a badly damaged or crushed box unless it was described as such, we do not guarantee box condition of sale items. All dolls are NRFB (never removed from box) and are shipped with the same care as regular priced merchandise. All sale items are considered final sales, sorry no returns or exchanges.
Prepayment & Layaways
- We are more than happy to set up individual prepayment and layaway plans for customers providing the orders totals $200 before shipping & taxes - sale items are not included. Please contact us at email@example.com to arrange a Pre-Payment plan.
- Layaway payments can be made in 2-3 equal payments not exceeding a 3 month duration. Pricing of items at the time the layaway is set up is firm. If a scheduled payment is declined, we will attempt to contact the customer once. If a payment is missed, we will cancel the layaway and put a credit note, less a 35% restocking fee, on file for you to use towards a further purchase. Layaway orders cannot be changed or extended. We agree to hold dolls for layaway orders and the customer agrees to all rules of the layaway agreement.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that funds are available.
Shipping - Canada & US
We generally ship via UPS but Post is available upon request.
Single doll orders $18
Multi-doll order $15.00 for the first doll, plus $3.00 for each additional doll per shipping carton.
GTA (General Toronto Area) Rates
$14.00 for single doll orders.
Multi-doll order $12.00 for the first doll plus $2.00 for each additional doll per shipping carton.
Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico
Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico US Territories, Yukon and the Northern Territories will be quoted when the order is placed.
Payment is not processed until you have authorized the shipping cost.
Additional Shipping Information
Shipping is based on the number of dolls that are actually being shipped at one time, not the number of dolls in the original order.
All shipping rates include insurance.
We reserve the right to use UPS or Post at our discretion based on what is more economical for the individual order.
People living in UPS extended areas will be contacted with shipping options and prices.
Small Item Shipping
Small items can usually be shipped in a bubble envelope via Post for only a few dollars and shipping will be quoted when order is placed. (Doll stands cannot be shipped in a bubble envelope.)
Within Canada and the Continental US shipping UPS usually takes about 3-5 business days, but please allow at least one week for delivery.
Overseas shipping quotes for in-stock items will be emailed to you after your order is placed (shipping quotes can take 1-2 business days). Your credit card or paypal account will not be billed until you agree to the cost of shipping. (We will hold dolls for 48 hours for you confirm shipping method/costs.)
We are unable to confirm shipping costs on pre-ordered dolls until they are in stock and ready for shipping. If you would like a shipping estimate prior to pre-ordering, please contact us. Overseas customers are responsible for taxes, duty and brokerage where applicable within their own country.
No additional taxes or duties are charged from My Favourite Doll.
Overseas customers are billed in US funds unless otherwise requested however, please note that the required customs forms that we fill out will be shown in Canadian dollars. We ship worldwide and will not falsify customs documents by lying about the value of the contents.
All shipping rates include insurance*.
Please carefully read all shipping quotes as some shipping services include tracking, some do not. Also, some services, such as the Small Packet Post service, has a capped insurance amount of $100 CDN, so again, please carefully read your quote and ask us if you have any questions.
We are happy to debox dolls for shipping to reduce weight/size of shipment.
Manufacturers Defective Product
Defective product is rare, but should you happen to receive a doll with a problem, both Integrity Toys and Tonner Dolls would prefer that you contact them directly. It is important for the manufacturer to be able to track problems and both companies have excellent facilities to deal with defective product or missing parts. We want our customers to have complete satisfaction with all transactions, including returns. It is therefore important that you read our Return Policies to avoid any misunderstandings. It is the customer’s responsibility to check merchandise immediately upon receipt, including dolls in sealed boxes.
You must call for return authorization and shipping instructions within 2 days of receiving your merchandise. Unauthorized returns, COD's or failure to comply with our return instructions will not be accepted. Returns are generally not a problem, but we do reserve the right to refuse them. Any charges incurred, such as brokerage fees due to shipping via courier, will be charged back to the customer. You are responsible for the product until it is back in our hands, so please insure it. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to read all company policies listed on this page prior to ordering and or returning merchandise. All returns must have an RA# from MFD.
Returns for Product Damaged in Shipping
Damaged merchandise? No problem. Call us immediately and we will instruct you on how to return the parcel. You must include the original shipping carton or we cannot accept the return. Return postage for product damaged during shipping will be paid by us. We reserve the right to refuse issuing credit for product and shipping costs if we feel that the items were not actually damaged during shipping. All returns must be sent by surface mail. We will not credit customers’ back for charges incurred for brokerage, courier, airmail etc. unless we agreed to it when authorization was given. All of our staff is educated on return authorization so we will not accept the excuse that wrong instructions were given when improper or unauthorized returns come in. We will not accept returns if dolls have been removed from the box, unless authorized. All returns must come to us with an MFD RA#.
It is the customer’s responsibility to advise us of all address changes. Any parcels that are rerouted to another address while in transit are charged an $10.00 service charge. This is per UPS, not MFD. If the parcel needs to be rerouted due to a fault of MFD, the customer will not be billed for the service charge. If the customer has given us an incorrect address or have contacted UPS themselves to have a parcel rerouted, the service charged will be billed to the customer.
